The Summer Shakespeare Festival Ostrava presents an international performance. The play is performed in English with Czech subtitles. The venue is Komorní scéna Aréna (www.divadloarena.cz). Performance date: 28th of July, 2025.

Learlike retells the familiar story of King Lear from the perspective of his daughters. These tireless child-tyrants may be newly in power, yet their methods of manipulation and deceit are old— or are they? Even in the most corrupt families, the roots of resistance grow deep.
